LEGAL SERVICES: You can consult with our nationwide legal network by simply calling our toll-free service line with your membership identification number listed on this contract. You are entitled to all benefits listed below:

1) PERSONAL CONSULTATIONS: Members are entitled to three (3) free 1/2 hour personal consultations each membership year with the participating network law firms.

2) 1 HOUR TELEPHONE CONSULTATIONS: Members receive up to 1 hour free telephone advise and legal consultation from participating network law firms for your business or personal legal problems.

3) FREE ACCESS: Members can access the Legal Protector Plus Network, toll free, 24 hours a day from anywhere in the U.S.A.

4) GUARANTEED REDUCED ATTORNEY FEES: Members will receive up to a twenty five percent (25%) preferred rate reduction from the hourly and fee schedule of the network law firms. This preferred rate is available to you as often as you need while you are covered by this plan.

5) CONTINGENCY: Members receive up to a ten percent (10%) preferred reduction from the standard contingency percentages of the network law firms.

EXCLUSIONS: The following items are specifically excluded and shall not be interpreted as included benefits, and no covered member, covered spouse, covered dependent or any combination thereof shall be entitled to receive an excluded benefit or service:

1. Any case, item, matter, or service involving an adversary relationship between parties or implied parties to the Legal Plan Agreement, including but not limited to covered member, covered spouse, covered dependent, contract holder (if any), any organization affiliated with contract holder (if any), or any organization with which contract holder is affiliated, staff attorney, state legal office, member of the participating panel of attorneys, administrator trustees of the plan (if any) covered member’s individual collective bargaining representative or covered member’s employer.
2. Any case, item, matter or service arising out of an employer employee relationship relating to an employer which is any way associated with the legal plan
3. Fines, court costs, penalties, expert witness fees, travel time, telephone, postage, photocopy costs, disbursements and other related expenses are not covered by the plan and shall be paid by the covered member. Any matters relating to patent, copyright, trademark, securities law, admiralty laws, pension or profit sharing law or mergers, acquisitions, mining or water law. Federal Employees Liability Act, foreign laws, tax or other specialized areas of law.
4. Appeals to a court of higher jurisdiction; class actions; interventions or amicus curiae filings.
5. Certain matters which existed before this plan became effective:
   A. Matters where a judgment has already been entered against a member and satisfaction of judgment has being sought;
   B. Matters where services are already being provided by another attorney
   C. Matters involving the Association or officers, employees or agents of the Association sponsoring the plan, or any officers, employees, or agents.
